ARMA-NCR Spring Workshop Series

Each spring, with the goal of assisting the development of skills and knowledge within the Information Management (IM) community, the ARMA-NCR (Ottawa) Chapter organizes and stages a series of workshops “The New Information Management Skills”.

This year's workshops, "The New Information Management Skills V," will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, June 26th and 27th, 2012 at the Sheraton Ottawa Hotel.

This event is composed solely of facilitated workshops which are intended to provide participants with practical new skills to use and apply in the continuously evolving IM work environment. Specifically, this stimulating and educational workshop series provides attendees from the private and public sectors with the opportunity to choose one or more sessions from a list of half-day and full-day sessions which are conducted over the 2-day event. This learning opportunity differs from a typical conference/seminar as workshops are facilitated by experts and give the participant an opportunity to interact and participate in a variety of exercises, thus ensuring that a skill is learned and may subsequently be put into practice.

Ultimately, the ARMA-NCR (Ottawa) Chapter seeks to provide the IM community with an affordable way to invest in its most valuable asset – its employees.
