The Director, Corporate Information Management provides government-wide leadership and strategic direction for managing information within Government of Yukon. The Director is accountable for administering legislation for the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act (ATIPP), and oversees Corporate Information Management programs, services, strategies and systems to provide effective management and use of Government of Yukon information assets. This position will lead government in the implementation of a modernized ATIPP Act as well as the development of an approach to digital government through digital information management. - Post-graduate degree in library and/or information science, archival studies, public or business administration, law or a related discipline;
- Several years’ middle management experience within the information management field, preferably in a public sector environment;
- Experience planning, developing, implementing, directing and evaluating corporate programs, services, strategies, policies, procedures and systems.
Candidates who have extensive training in information management theory and practices, combined with considerable middle management experience leading a corporate information management program within a large organization or public sector environment, and a broad range of management skills will also be considered.
Salary: $88,928.00 - $122,129.00
