Assessing User Needs for Content Management Systems
Why do many content management projects feel like failures? Has your organization undergone one or more enterprise deployments only to see abysmal adoption rates? This study seeks to uncover some of the variables past projects share with current user adoption struggles. The research methodology includes a survey directed specifically at Canadian Public Sector departments.
About the Speaker: Carissa Buckley
Ms. Buckley is a Project and Information Management specialist who is passionate about leveraging new technologies and processes for clients. She completed Dalhousie University's Master of Information Management program from May 2013-April 2017. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Arts, Honours- English Language and Literature, Queen's University (May 2005), a Master's Certificate in Project Management, Carleton University, Sprott School of Business, (May 2011) and an Advanced Study in Writing for Business and the Professions- Writing and Publishing Program, Simon Fraser University (August 2008). Her technical certifications include PMP® Certified, Open Text Content Server ECM Business Administrator OTLBC 9.7.1 Certified (November 2009) and MS CRM Dynamics 2013 Certified.
Her abilities are focused on both independent and team-centric learning, as well as highly effective written and verbal communication skills that translate to achieving targets in a time sensitive fashion.  Ms. Buckley seeks to provide the most effective professional services while expanding her analytical, evaluation and IM architecture skills. When not at work, she enjoys fair weather cycling in Ottawa, with her family and dog in tow.
