About the session : The session will cover an overview of the importance of Taxonomies in the development of Information Architecture and ERDMS. This is meant to be an introductory discussion and explanation of what taxonomies are for and how they are used in different contexts to underline their essential value to the IM community.
About the speaker : Leslie Santibañez has a Master degree in Communications with a specialization in Knowledge Management. She has worked in the IM field for 15 years and considers herself a Business Taxonomy enthusiast. Leslie has collaborated in several deployments of GCdocs and SharePoint in several Canadian government departments and is currently working on the taxonomy development and information architecture for M365 and GCdocs at Global Affairs.
